Akila City is reminiscent of an old Western movie, showcasing its unique style with pride. The city was established by an ancestor of Sam Coe, a member of the Constellation. Residents of Akila City deeply value their traditions and family heritage. Many families, including the Coe family, reside in grand mansions and enjoy luxurious lifestyles.

What System is Akila City in?

Akila City is located on the planet Akila in the Cheyene system. It is a destination during your artifact investigations with Constellation in the Starfield main campaign. Solomon Coe established Akila City and he formed a partnership between the Cheyenne and Volii systems and became the capital of the Freestar Collective.

The city is divided into various regions, similar to New Atlantis or Cydonia. But in Akila City, these divisions are less visually distinct and don't have loading screens or transitions.

Akila City Spaceport

Upon landing in Akila City, you'll be at the city's spaceport. It's a compact area with two landing pads and a service shack. Nearby, there's an overpass leading to the main city. The spaceport offers some resources worth checking out.

Ship Services

For ship repairs or upgrades, visit the Ship Services shack located near the city entrance.

Trade Authority Kiosk

Outside the main gates, near the Ship Service's shack, there's a Trade Authority kiosk. It allows you to sell items from your inventory and ship's cargo. However, it doesn't offer items for purchase.

Zone 1: Main Street

Zone 1 is Akila City's main street, housing most of the frequently visited shops. From bars to markets, Zone 1 has almost everything you might need.

Shepherd’s General Store

Right after entering the city from the spaceport, Shepherd’s General Store is on the left. Emerson runs the store, offering various goods for purchase. There's also a spacesuit workbench for your use.

Akila Guard Barracks

Behind Shepherd's store is the Guard Barracks, where city security personnel rest. Inside, there's a security database computer.

Rowland Arms

For firearms, visit Rowland’s next to Shepherd’s. They offer modded weapons and specialized guns. There's also a weapon bench for modifications.

The Hitching Post

An open-air bar opposite Shepherd’s. It houses Akila’s Mission Board and Self-Service Bounty Clearance terminals. Jaden is the bartender, offering a variety of drinks.

GalBank

Beside The Hitching Post is GalBank. Currently, it's under a hostage situation. Once resolved, you can access its services. Inside, there's a front desk, office cubicles, and a safe to pick. There's also a vault with more safes.

The Rock

A significant structure in Akila, The Rock is home to the space sheriffs, the Freestar Rangers. Inside, there are resources and individuals to assist you. The building has multiple floors with various amenities and NPCs.

Freestar Collective Consulate

Next to The Rock, the consulate is accessible via stairs. Inside, foreign dignitaries stay during visits.

Terrabrew

Between GalBank and The Rock, Terrabrew offers coffee. You can order from the barista or use the kiosks.

Chunks

Near Rowland Arms, Chunks sells meat cubes.

Midtown Minerals

For crafting minerals, visit Midtown Minerals and speak to Alejandra Kane. There's also a Research Lab for crafting.

The Prison

Past the barracks, there's a small jail. If you're caught breaking the law in Akila City, you'll end up here.

Enhance! Shop

Next to the prison, this shop offers appearance-changing options. There's also a Pharmaceutical Lab for crafting.

Trade Authority

Behind GalBank, the Trade Authority is the place to sell items and buy ammo and equipment.

Zone 2: Shadier Areas and Gems

Zone 2, north of The Rock, has some of Akila City's shadier areas, like the slums. However, it also has gems like the StoneRoot Inn.

Zone 3: Residential Area

Zone 3, south of The Rock, mainly consists of residential buildings. Notable places include Laredo Firearms and the House of the Enlightened.
