During the UC Vanguard storyline, you'll come across Hadrian and her father Vae Victis, who was believed to be dead, but the UC Vanguard was secretly protecting him. Revealing this could risk peace between different groups. But how can you not tell Hadrian, especially after meeting her in odd situations with Terrormorphs? Considering Vae Victis' ties to these creatures and the Londinion tragedy, can you really keep quiet? The situation is more complex than it seems.

Should You Tell Hadrian About Her Father?
It is recommended not to tell Hadrian about her or his role in the Londinion Terrormorph attacks. This means keeping the secret from Hadrian and the United Colonies Cabinet at all times. This way, Hadrian won't realize you've kept the truth from her, and your relationships with other companions won't be affected.
Not telling Hadrian about her father is recommended if you want to experience more content in Starfield. Keeping Vae Victis' secret allows you to access an additional mission with him. However, if he is exposed, the United Colonies Cabinet will execute him and you won't be able to access the bonus mission.
3 Chances to Tell Hadrian About Her Father
During the UC Vanguard storyline, you have multiple chances to tell Hadrian about her dad. Each time you share the truth, she reacts differently. If you believe he should face consequences, there are 3 chances to tell Hadrian about him.
1. During the "War Relics" Mission

The first chance to tell Hadrian the truth is during The Devils You Know quest on Mars. If you choose to reveal the truth to Major Hadrian at this point, she initially thinks it's a joke but later expresses anger towards the UC for their deception. She eventually focuses on her current role with the UC and does not let her past define her. If you skip this chance, you will get another shot later.
2. During the "Hostile Intelligence" Mission

You have two separate chances to tell Hadrian the truth in this mission. The first opportunity arises after discovering Vae Victis' knowledge about the Lazarus Plant. Hadrian's resentment towards Vae Victis intensifies, believing he hid crucial information about the Lazarus Plant and the Terrormorphs. At the end of the mission, you can again choose to tell the truth to Percival, indirectly addressing Hadrian. If you reveal the truth, Hadrian initially gets angry but later understands that you were just following orders.
3. During the "A Legacy Forged" Mission

A Legacy Forged mission will be the final chance for you to tell Hadrian the truth. Unlike previous chances, you can now provide proof of Vae Victis' involvement in the attacks. If you decide to tell her, she believes the Cabinet should be informed. Any further attempts to lie about Vae Victis' role will not matter, as Hadrian will confess to the Cabinet.
If You Decide to Tell Hadrian The Truth
If you tell Hadrian the truth, she will share it with the United Colonies Cabinet at the end of UC Vanguard story. This will lead to Vae Victis' death, even if you try to save him. However, telling the truth about Vae doesn't change the rewards like XP and credits you get from missions.
Once Vae Victis is dead, you won't be able to access the last bonus UC Vanguard mission, which requires you to team up with Vae Victis to pursue United Colonies criminals.
If You Decide Not to Tell Hadrian The Truth
If you don't tell Hadrian the truth, Vae Victis serves the United Colonies discreetly at Subsection Seven, a hidden facility beneath the MAST Building. Regardless of the choice, it doesn't affect the player's bond with Hadrian. She'll either remain unaware of her father's presence or understand your reasons for withholding the truth.
Choosing to keep the secret until the end allows you to take on a last mission with Vae Victis in the UC Vanguard series following the "A Legacy Forged" quest. In this mission, you collaborate with Vae Victis to pursue criminals from the United Colonies.
