Diablo 4: Traveler’s Prayer Quest Walkthrough (Step by Step)

The Traveler's Prayer is an optional side quest in Diablo 4 that may not take much time to complete but can be confusing for players who aren't fully paying attention. The key to completing it lies in the emote wheel, a feature you might not think to use.

The quest involves using a specific emote at a designated location and is similar to other side quests like Keeping the Old Traditions and The Pilgrim's Footsteps. These quests offer a straightforward way to earn experience points for leveling up. This guide aims to help players locate and swiftly complete The Traveler's Prayer quest.

Starting the Quest

  1. Location: The Hog's Head in Yelesna
  2. Quest Giver: Pilgrim's Letter on a table
  3. Level Requirement: Level 7+

Steps to Complete

  1. Read the Pilgrim's Letter: Found on a table in The Hog's Head.
  2. Head to the Shrine: Follow the quest marker to the shrine.
  3. Defeat Enemies: Clear any mobs around the shrine.
  4. Use the Emote Wheel: Open the emote wheel and select "Thanks."
  5. Complete the Quest: Receive rewards like Elixir Cache, XP, and gold.

Rewards

  • Elixir Cache
  • +20 Fractured Peaks Renown
  • XP and Gold

To initiate the Traveler's Prayer quest in Diablo 4, make your way to The Hog's Head pub, located in the Fractured Peaks region of Sanctuary. The quest is suitable for players who are level 7 and above and is marked by a description that reads, "a note bearing a pilgrim's wisdom."

You'll find a Pilgrim's Letter placed casually on a table. It reads, "From Yelesna, I set out on my pilgrimage. I offered thanks at a roadside shrine and received a blessing for my journey.", which means your mission is to give thanks at a roadside shrine.

The next step is to locate the shrine. Upon exiting The Hog's Head, your quest marker will guide you to the shrine. Turn right and head north towards the Zeleny Lowlands. Continue in the same direction through the Murmuring Mill, and defeat a group of Ghouls along the way. These enemies are usually lurking around the shrine, and you'll need to defeat them to proceed.

Once the area is cleared, you'll need to open your emote wheel, which can be accessed by pressing 'E' on the keyboard or the up D-pad on your controller. Assign the "Thanks" emote to your Emote wheel and use this emote in front of the shrine. This will complete the quest, triggering a loot drop of Pilgrim’s Supplies containing a Weak Elixir of Poison Resistance and a Weak Third Eye Elixir. You'll also earn 4896 XP and 1040 gold coins as rewards. Additionally, you'll receive +20 Fractured Peaks Renown, an Elixir Cache, XP, and gold as your rewards.

This would be the end of the Traveler's Prayer quest in Diablo 4. Using the Emote wheel is not just for this quest; it's a feature you'll find useful in other quests like Raising Spirits and Secret of the Spring as well.
