Diablo 4 Quest: Follow the Pilgrim’s Journey (Easy 3 Steps)

Diablo 4's "The Pilgrim’s Footsteps" is a relatively straightforward quest once you know what to do. The key is to use the "Follow" emote at the designated location, which will spawn a chest containing Elixirs. This guide should provide you with all the information you need to complete the quest with ease.

  • Quest: Follow the Pilgrim’s Journey
  • Region: Kehjistan
  • Zone: Zakarum Chapel
  • Started by: Interact with Old Book
  • Finish by: Using the Follow emote
  • Quest Rewards: 30 Renown

Step 1: Starting the Quest

To initiate the quest, you'll need to interact with an Old Book that is left on the ground in the Searing Expanse zone. First, find Searing Expanse Zone, and then interact with Old Book and you will be guided to Zakarum Chapel.

The quest "The Pilgrim’s Footsteps" in Diablo 4 begins in the Searing Expanse zone. This area is part of the Kehjistan region, which is one of the game's expansive landscapes filled with various challenges, enemies, and quests.

Step 2: Interact with Old Book

The quest is initiated by interacting with an "Old Book" that you'll find lying on the ground. Unlike many other quests that are started by talking to NPCs (Non-Player Characters), this one begins with an inanimate object, adding a layer of mystery to the quest.

Upon interacting with the Old Book, you'll receive the quest objectives in your quest log. Then the game will guide you to Zakarum Chapel. From this point, you'll need to follow the quest objectives to complete it successfully

Step 3: Use the "Follow" Emote

Upon reaching the designated location, you'll find no further clues or objectives. This is where many players get stuck. The key to completing the Follow the Pilgrim’s Journey quest is to use the "follow" emote. To do this, open your emote menu and select the "follow" option. Once you perform this emote, a chest will appear.

Step 4: Collect Your Reward

After the chest appears, go ahead and open it to collect your reward. This will complete the quest, and you can return to the quest giver to turn it in.
