Baldur’s Gate: Mithril Ore Exact Locations


Mithril Ore is recognized as a common consumable item within the world of Baldur's Gate 3. This rough, unprocessed, and raw ore is primed for the forge. Its primary use is for crafting adamantine armor or weapons, all of which possess the unique "Reeling" effect. There are only 2 Mithril Ore Veins, and they are both in Abandoned Refuge.

BG3 Mithril Ore Locations

The first Mithril Ore is located Northeast of the Adamantine Forge up the broken stairs. Cross the lava to find it at coordinates X: -556 Y: 277. The second Mithril Ore can be found in the Ancient Temple Northwest from the Adamantine Forge. It's behind the armor areas and across the lava with coordinates X: -642 Y: 253.

First Mithril Ore Location

The first Mithril Ore location in Baldur's Gate 3 is near the Adamantine Forge. From the forge, go down the broken stairs and head towards the lava. Be prepared for an ambush by Magma Mephits. Defeat them and the Mithril Ore can be found across on the other side against the cavern wall.

From the Adamantine Forge, follow the broken stairs and head in the direction of the lava.

When you see lava, defeat Magma Mephits and jump over the rocks to the other side.

When you jump over, you will see the Mithril Ore.

Second Mithril Ore Location

The second Mithril Ore can be found northwest of the Ancient Temple area beyond a lava stretch near the cliff. Go back to the broken stairs, and head north towards a bunch of armor areas. Turn left and go down the path. Follow the path, jump over the rocks avoiding the lava, and you will find another Mithril Ore.

Warp or return to the forge area.

Go up the stairs, head towards the animated armor.

When you see a bunch of armors, turn left.

At the end, turn left to go down a path.

Jump on rocks to avoid the lava. Mithril Ore can be found on the other side.
