Starfield: Where To Find Vulture’s Roost

Vulture's Roost is a great location that has abundant loot and contraband. This site, which serves as a bar/motel, is a popular hangout spot for Ecliptic members. While the enemies encountered here can be challenging, the rewards are substantial.

You can walk away with over 30 pieces of contraband, highly valuable weapons, and even a free ship named the Dagger. Be equipped with a good supply of Digipicks to unlock doors, safes, and contraband chests. Vulture's Roost is a rewarding location to explore and loot.

Where To Find Vulture's Roost

Vulture's Roost is located within the Jaffa star system, which is located to the left of Porrima and south of Kryx. Once in the Jaffa system, travel to the small planet Jaffa IV. Upon reaching its orbit, Vulture’s Roost becomes available as a landing destination.

Upon entering the Jaffa star system, you may encounter enemies, such as pirates. It's important to be prepared for combat, as these encounters can be sudden and challenging. The primary destination within this system is Jaffa IV, a small planet accompanied by a moon.

Vulture's Roost is a hidden base for the notorious Ecliptic mercenaries. You should be on high alert, as confrontations are almost immediate upon arrival. When you defeat them, you can collect their gear and belongings.

Steal The Dagger Ship

As you make your way through Vulture's Roost, the sound of a ship landing will catch your attention. This ship is known as The Dagger. You will need to defeat enemies to acquire The Dagger. There will be no key required for The Dagger. Simply enter the unlocked ship and you can sell the ship later.

Although The Dagger is not the most elite ship in Starfield, is a valuable addition to any player's fleet. For those not interested in keeping it, The Dagger can also be sold for credits.

Loot The Giant Contraband Stash

At Vulture's Roost, you'll find various contraband items. To access some of them, you'll need Digipicks to unlock doors and boxes. In the bar's kitchen area, there's a safe with an Advanced lock holding 5 Room Keys. Use these keys to unlock rooms near the staircase in the vicinity, which might have weapons and more contraband.

Search these areas:

The Holding Cell: Near the entrance, ascend the stairs from the landing pad to discover a cell secured with a Master Lock. A keycard for this cell can be found in the nearby barracks. Inside the cell, you'll find two Aurora containers.

Residential Units: Adjacent to the tavern, scout for an accessible door on the ground floor. This two-story residential section boasts several locked chambers, each brimming with treasures.

Barracks within the Residential Units: On the upper level of the residential area, there's a door with an Expert Lock. Once unlocked, you'll uncover two chests with Master Locks, a pair of Aurora containers, and some Harvested Organs.

Administrative Chambers: Situated on the tavern's top floor is a corridor lined with several locked offices. This passage eventually leads you to the landing pad where the Dagger is docked.

After collecting the stash, you can sell it. Head to a place called "the den" and interact with the trade authority. By the end of this venture, you could earn over 60k credits.
