How to Get ALL 24 Powers in Starfield

Starfield has 24 unique Powers, each offering different abilities. Players acquire these powers through "Power From Beyond" missions, part of the main quest. In these missions, players locate anomalies leading to temples, where they navigate challenges and defeat Starborn Guardians to obtain each power. This process is repeated across various planets, allowing players to collect all powers as they progress in the game.

Acquiring Your First Power

The first Starborn Power in Starfield is consistent for all players, obtained through the Constellation quest line. The key mission is "Into the Unknown."

To locate the power, players must use their scanner to detect anomalies. The scanner exhibits a glitching animation when directed towards the correct path. In clear conditions, the temple, which is the power source, is often visible in the distance. This temple is crucial for acquiring all 24 Starborn Powers.

Inside the temple, players must navigate through orbs quickly and pass through a central ring after it explodes to collect the power. A Starborn Guardian awaits at the end, who must be defeated. Returning to Vlad triggers the "Power From Beyond" missions, where this process is repeated for additional powers.

Continuing the Quest for Powers

After the initial power, the rest in the game are found randomly, meaning their locations vary for each player. This adds an element of unpredictability to the power collection process.

Once players have acquired the first seven powers and completed the related missions from Vlad, they should proceed to the next part of the guide. If some powers are still missing, they need to continue exploring and completing the "Into the Unknown" mission.

The guide emphasizes the repetitive nature of acquiring powers: find a temple, navigate the challenges within, defeat the guardian, and return to Vlad for more missions. Despite the repetition, the powers obtained offer unique abilities and advantages in the game.

At a point where Vlad will stop offering "Power From Beyond" missions, signaling players to shift their strategy for collecting the remaining powers.

Advanced Stages of Power Collection

After completing the missions provided by Vlad, players might still be missing several Starborn Powers. The next step involves progressing through the Constellation quest line, particularly focusing on the mission named "Revelation."

Completing "Revelation" provides players with numerous artifacts previously inaccessible. These artifacts are key to locating more temples, which in turn lead to more powers. Players are advised not to deposit all artifacts into the armaly, as doing so triggers New Game Plus (NG+), which should be avoided at this stage.

To continue power collection, players should complete the optional part of the "One Giant Leap" mission and consult their allies before leaving. A crucial step is to return to the lodge and exhaust all dialogue options with Vlad. After this, engaging Vlad in conversation again prompts him to offer the remaining "Power From Beyond" missions, leading players to the rest of the powers, except for one final power, which is covered in the next section.

Obtaining the Final Power

The last Starborn Power is acquired through a mission called "World's Apart," offered by a character named Barrett. However, initiating this mission can be challenging. For PC players, entering the command "StarQuest2fae" in the command menu triggers Barrett's mission. Xbox players may find this more complex, with some reporting success by having Barrett as a companion and raising affinity, while others suggest it might occur randomly when visiting the lodge.

Players are advised to regularly check the activities tab for an option to talk with Barrett, as it's easy to miss this crucial conversation.

In "High Price to Pay," the companion not present with the player will be killed by the hunter. If Barrett is not at the lodge during this mission, he will die, making it impossible to initiate "World's Apart." Therefore, players need to attempt this mission before reaching that point in the main storyline. If Barrett is already dead, the only solution is to start NG+ where players can skip the main campaign and meet Barrett at Vecta in the Naron system, triggering "World's Apart" through dialogue. This final mission grants the "Parallel Self" power.

The mission "High Price to Pay" significantly impacts the game, as the companion not with the player is killed, affecting the availability of Barrett's mission "World's Apart" for the final Starborn Power. If Barrett dies, the mission becomes inaccessible. In New Game Plus (NG+), players lose some powers but can regain more powerful versions. Barrett's mission can be triggered early in NG+ at Vecta, Naron system, enabling players to acquire the "Parallel Self" power.
